Resurrection Pass North Trailhead

Hope

The feel

Campers set up across the bridge from the parking lot, alongside the road or in the parking area itself, and hikers and bikers sign the trail register before they head out.

The north trail runs 21.7 miles one way to the Devil's Creek trail, a 2 to 4 day trip with moderate public use. The trail climbs from 500 to 2600 feet over 39 miles, with eight public use cabins along the route. Downed trees can slow travel at any time of year.

Mingo says

Go in summer, once the heavy snow in the pass has gone, which can run into early June. Expect bugs in the warmer months.
