Moose Creek Campground

The feel

Moose Creek is a wooded creekside campground near Sutton, run by the Chickaloon Native Village. It is a family-friendly place with no frills, built around fourteen camping sites, three pavilions and a small playground.

Each site has a picnic table, a fire pit, tent space and parking for up to two vehicles. There is an open grass area for games, and informative displays cover the natural and cultural history of the area. Several non-motorized trails lead to Moose Creek, and a Matanuska River Trailhead starts here too.
