What it is like
Denali RV Park and Motel is an 82 site full hookup park at Mile 245.1 Parks Highway, near Healy. The park has a motel and cabins on site, plus laundry, pull through sites, outdoor cooking areas, a dog walking trail and a gift shop. The season runs roughly May to September, and reservations go through the park's own booking system.
Healy is about 2.6 miles from the park. The Denali Visitor Center, 6.6 miles away, has exhibits, a park film, ranger programs and trip planning help. The Denali outpost of 49th State Brewing has a large beer garden, bocce and cornhole, and an extensive menu with halibut and chips, yak burgers and king crab.
