Fairbanks Chena River KOA

The feel

This is a family owned RV park of 160 sites on the banks of the Chena River, between Fairbanks and North Pole. Most sites are 70 foot pull through, and 154 of the 160 are full hookup.

The park offers 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and wifi. On the grounds there is a riverside walking area, a putting course and a clubhouse.

Aim for the window between May 15 and September 25, when the park is open. The riverside walking area runs along the Chena's banks, so the river is close at hand.
